I let myself busy with applying for scholarship and private universities lately.
Very tough time in my life, completing the whole form, especially international scholars...

PROGRAM: BACHELOR OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY(Hons.) IN PROCESS
DURATION: 4 YEARS(FROM JULY 2010 TO JUNE 2014)
PLACE OF STUDY: UNIVERSITI KUALA LUMPUR MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL AND BIO-ENGINEERING, ALOR GAJAH, MELAKA.
Worried about my application to goverment universities, I keep on viewing the ministry of higher education a.k.a MOHE website, there's still time to edit my form, but it is closed for now, the form I mean, and it will be open again on the day the matriculation result announced until 10 days after that... THAT, is my big time, I have to edit everything, compete with other thousands of user, to ensure I applied the most suitable course and universities. I just don't want myself to be rejected of goverment university once again, (tak nak pisang berbuah dua kali) NO!!!!
After applying for some scholarship, I'm a little bit pissed... Nothing, actually... just that they always include writing essays about why you choose to apply for their scholarship, why you choose your applied course and not others, your career goal, etc... And I just hate to write formal essay, so, I just close the tab, as easy as that.
Anyways, I have applied many universities and scholarship lately, so, I wanna share my knowledge... about apllying it...
ZETTY'S TIPS ON APPLYING SCHOLARSHIP AND UNIVERSITIES
- Have knowledge about the course you want to apply: Okay, what's your ambition? What's your favourite subject? What about it's grade? These questions answers the course you should apply. Some people they just choose a course which they are not sure they have interest in it or not. Maybe you can't figure out yourself what is your major interest, try asking your friends and family, they should know because they always with you. Not only interest can help, your most powerfull subject can also help you from mistakes of applying the wrong course. I have experience in this, when I was a high school girl, I dream of being a succesfull pharmacist one day, hoping that I'll be the inventor of the future's most famous antidote. But then, my Biology is the lowest grade in SPM, I think, maybe I'm not that good in life science courses, maybe I'm better in the other path, maybe this is not my path anymore, so, I change to engineering courses. But, be sure to understand very clearly about the course you would like to apply, the net is here anytime, use it's service, search for the one you dunno, like I've ever confused with aeronautic and aerospace courses, what's their difference. If the net can't help, try to call the university itself to get more information, or you can also ask the olders, they always know what you dunno(siapa yang lebih dulu makan garam?)...
- make sure you make a strategy when applying many application of the same course: You want the best university, yes? If you are, like me, loves to apply thousands of application, so that you will be accepted to study, even where ever it locate you, then plan the best strategy, baby! You know the government universities offer courses with less payment, so, make government universities be your first choice. You don't have to worry about the accreditation, it is confirmed bcoz it's government, but which government uni??? Honeys, make sure your UPU application is made in order, there are 8 choices, right? the first four universities should be the top unis such as UM, UKM, UPM and UTM. The last four choices should be filled with other unis such as UTHM, UMP, UTeM and UNIMAS. After the government unis, what's next? Easy, find the most accredited private unis, so you will not be trapped not employing a career after finished study. The best way to discover these universities are to find out do the university gives you study loan from famous private companies or semi-government companies such as MARA and PETRONAS, so uniKL and UTP are the best choice. Then, apply for the private university with great appreciation in the world of studies, example is UNISEL, they had been listed as one of the top 100 university in the world. You'll be ensured to learn the best from the best. Other university includes MAHSA and MASTERSKILL.
- Complete the form, and make sure you send the application before the deadline:Right, just make sure you really want to apply for this uni or scholar, if you are, like me, tired of writing an essay for a scholarship application, so, just forget about that one application... Because there's always other choice, this is not giving up, this is just you don't wanna waste your time for one application and not applying other form just because it's already deadline.
- For scholar application, make sure you choose the one with the field you applied in unis: If you applied for engineering course, don't you ever dream of applying scholar of hospitals and banks, they always offer for life science students only and management students only. You should also make sure your age is between range, some scholars are only offered for SPM leavers only, so, better see through everything, okay!
